Prototype teething issues notwithstanding, the PAM 682 really nails the details for a quality and fun niche model from Panerai. With sapphire crystals both front and back, 300m water resistance, and the Luminor’s signature lever crown guard, the 42mm Submersible covers all the Panerai bases. The 682 is a cool watch and can be had in the pre-owned market for 30-40% off retail. That is where you should be price wise for any of the Panerai models. I just got a 1389 and enjoy the 47 mm case but I have a 7.5-7.75 inch wrist.

Adjusting time on the go is super easy. The rubber strap is comfortable on the wrist. Cons: Some may appreciate an open case-back. No in-house movement. Some may find the pricing to be expensive. Overall Rating: 7.8/10. Value for money – 7.5/10. Wearability – 8/10. Design – 8/10.
