The only way this watch measures 42mm is from the 10 o’clock position of the case profile to the edge of the bezel (!) at 4 o’clock. It will still suffer from clasp pain syndrome , it was either too tight or too loose for my wrist size.When these showed up on trusty's I tried the gen on this week at the airport and was reminded that as much as I like the style of this watch, the Hublot clasp is not for me, a shame, it looks great, despite some failings from the front, but a good attempt.

They are very uncomfortable and cut into my wrist. My "solution" was to sand down the sharp edges with a dremel and make them smooth. That fixed most of the problem. With regard to bending the clasp, I didn't try that. I wonder if that's easy to do without affecting the functionality of the clasp.
